Verses

Psalm 116

1 I love the LORD, because he hath heard my voice and my supplications.
2 Because he hath inclined his ear unto me, therefore will I call upon him as long as I live.
3 The sorrows of death compassed me, and the pains of hell gat hold upon me: I found trouble and sorrow.
4 Then called I upon the name of the LORD; O LORD, I beseech thee, deliver my soul.
5 Gracious is the LORD, and righteous; yea, our God is merciful.
6 The LORD preserveth the simple: I was brought low, and he helped me.
7 Return unto thy rest, O my soul; for the LORD hath dealt bountifully with thee.
8 For thou hast delivered my soul from death, mine eyes from tears, and my feet from falling.
9 I will walk before the LORD in the land of the living.
10 I believed, therefore have I spoken: I was greatly afflicted:
11 I said in my haste, All men are liars.
12 What shall I render unto the LORD for all his benefits toward me?
13 I will take the cup of salvation, and call upon the name of the LORD.
14 I will pay my vows unto the LORD now in the presence of all his people.
15 Precious in the sight of the LORD is the death of his saints.
16 O LORD, truly I am thy servant; I am thy servant, and the son of thine handmaid: thou hast loosed my bonds.
17 I will offer to thee the sacrifice of thanksgiving, and will call upon the name of the LORD.
18 I will pay my vows unto the LORD now in the presence of all his people,
19 In the courts of the LORD’S house, in the midst of thee, O Jerusalem. Praise ye the LORD.

4:4
Rejoice in the Lord alway: and again I say, Rejoice.
4:6
Be careful in nothing; but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your request be made known unto God.
4:11
Not that I speak in respect of want: for I have learned, in whatsoever state I am, therewith to be content.
4:13
I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me.
4:19
But my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus.
Ephesians 3:20-21
Now unto him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, accourding to the power that worketh in us, Unto him be glory in the church by Christ Jesus throughout all ages, world without end. Amen.
John 9:1-3, 11

And as Jesus passed by, he saw a man which was blind from his birth. And his disciples asked him, saying, Master, who did sin, this man, or his parents, that he was born blind? Jesus answered, Neither hath this man sinned, nor his parents: but that the works of God should be made manifest in him.
vs 11
He answered and said, A man that is called Jesus made clay, and anointed mine eyes, and said unto me, Go to the pool of Siloam, and wash: and I went and washed, and I received sight.

Pastor alluded to Psalm 62:5 in his message yesterday and this morning I went to read the Psalm. It's a really good Psalm and I encourage you to go and meditate on what is written. Imagine the Psalmist saying to himself, "My soul, wait thou only upon God; for my expectation is from him." Wow! What a verse! What a Psalm! What an encouragement:o). I'm praying for you girl! Remember HE alone is your rock and your salvation. HE alone is your defense. HE alone is your strength and refuge. "Trust in him at all times"!

Amen, Tiff,
What a blessing we have in God's Words and to know that His Words shall not pass away (Mt. 24:35)
Isaiah 26:3&4 "Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on thee: because he trusteth in thee. Trust ye in the LORD for ever: for in the LORD JEHOVAH is everlasting strength:"
Whisper in Dillon's ear that Grandma loves him. Thanks :-)
Praying for and love you all.

What wonderful Words from our loving Lord. It's amazing how they continue to speak to us each time we read them. I'm so glad that they are bringing you comfort and strength!

I just noticed that you added pumpkin patch pictures...so cute! And may I be the first to say that Dillon looks adorable and very "seasonal" nestled amongst pumpkins! I'm happy that you both were able to come. It was so sweet to have him on his first hayride with us. And I noticed in his pictures that he is really changing...he's getting chubby cheeks! I love those kissable, baby cheeks!
